Rationale

Section 7.1.2 discusses computer hygrothermal analysis simulation models as a design tool which can be used to predict moisture and temperature conditions. This discussion should be updated to include reference to ASTM E3054 “Standard Guide for Characterization and Use of Hygrothermal Models for Moisture Control Design in Building Envelopes” and reference ASHRAE 160 to make the discussion more current. Additionally, ASTM MNL 40 references were removed since the manual is not available.
