1. Scope

The scope of work for this work item is for the development of a test method for the determination of elemental content of jet fuel. The test is being developed to obtain the detection of the elements defined in ASTM D7111 for the range of 1 to 200 ppb in the global jet fuel pool by ICP-MS. The global jet fuel pool includes both conventional and sustainable jet fuel specifications.
